Overview
PatchVanta publishes source-backed summaries of official game patch notes, hotfixes, balance changes, updates, and related announcements. This Privacy Policy explains the limited information that may be processed when you visit PatchVanta.
Information processed automatically
Like most websites, PatchVanta infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested URL, request time, response status, and security or error logs. This information is used for site reliability, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and security.
Cookies and WordPress
PatchVanta uses WordPress. WordPress or supporting infrastructure may use cookies that are necessary for site operation, administration, security, or preferences. PatchVanta does not currently operate a display advertising network on the public site.
Jetpack Stats
PatchVanta uses Jetpack Stats, a service provided by Automattic, to measure aggregate site traffic and performance. Jetpack Stats may process information such as IP address, WordPress.com account information when a visitor is logged in, user agent, visiting URL, referring URL, timestamp, browser language, and country code. PatchVanta uses the resulting statistics in aggregate and does not receive visitor IP addresses or WordPress.com usernames through the Stats interface. Automattic states that Stats logs containing visitor IP addresses and WordPress.com usernames, when available, are retained for 28 days for the purpose of providing the feature.

Search performance data
PatchVanta uses Google Search Console to understand aggregate search performance, indexing, impressions, clicks, and search queries. The Search Console reports used by PatchVanta are intended for site-level search analysis rather than identifying individual visitors.
External links and media
Articles may link to official game websites, forums, YouTube, or other first-party sources. Some pages may load media or assets from external services. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies when you interact with them.
Advertising
PatchVanta does not currently serve Google AdSense or another display advertising network. If advertising is enabled later, this policy will be updated to describe the relevant advertising, cookie, consent, and data-processing practices.
Data retention and sharing
Operational logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, reliability, and legal or operational requirements. PatchVanta does not sell personal information to advertisers.

For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact page. Do not include passwords, credentials, or other sensitive personal information in a public issue.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as PatchVanta adds or changes site features, analytics, advertising, or other services. The current version is published on this page.
