TL;DR
Warframe Hotfix 44.1.3 caps Ammo Efficiency at 75%, changes several Ammo Efficiency sources, and reworks Riven Dispositions by removing the old weapon-specific system. It also fixes Acid Shells and other “enemies explode on death” effects so Elemental Ammo no longer retriggers them infinitely.
What Changed
- Ammo Efficiency is now capped at 75% across all equipment that uses ammo, including Necramechs and Amps.
- Sources that previously granted 100% Ammo Efficiency have been rephrased to indicate Infinite Ammo instead.
- Several Ammo Efficiency sources were adjusted, including:
- AX-52 hip-fire bonus increased from +60% to +75%.
- Eternal Logistics increased from +72% to +75% Amp Ammo Efficiency.
- Arcane Pistoleer now grants a chance for Infinite Ammo instead of Ammo Efficiency.
- Brain Storm and Skull Shots now grant chances for Infinite Ammo instead of Ammo Efficiency.
- Incarnon Evolution “Enough for Everyone” was reduced from +80% to +75%.
- Incarnon Evolution “Crimson Overture” changed from stacking up to 4x at +20% to stacking up to 3x at +25%.
- Lyon’s “Flowing Slayer” blessing was adjusted from +90% / -30% to +75% / -25%, and a bug preventing it from applying properly in-mission was fixed.
- Acid Shells and other “enemies explode on death” effects were fixed so Elemental Ammo status effects can no longer retrigger their death explosions infinitely.
- Acid Shells’ explosion radius was reduced from 15m to 10m.
- Riven Dispositions were removed; all Rivens now use the same multiplier equivalent to 1.2 Disposition in the old system.
- Riven Mods can be traded again.
- The new Axi C13 Relic was added to mission drop tables to address the Braton Prime Receiver being unintentionally vaulted.
- The Peely Pix search function now also searches descriptions.
- Credit Bundles now support multiple purchases.
- Several fixes were made, including issues with Void of the Lotus, Vessel’s Gaze, Riven Splicers chatlinking, Yareli on Merulina, Toxic Amphors gas clouds, missing Kavats hair tufts, and multiple quest/UI/script errors.
Player Impact
The biggest gameplay change is the new 75% Ammo Efficiency ceiling. Builds that relied on pushing Ammo Efficiency beyond that point will no longer scale past the cap, and some effects now explicitly convert to Infinite Ammo instead of adding more Ammo Efficiency. That matters for ammo-heavy setups across weapons, Necramechs, and Amps.
The Acid Shells change is also significant for players using Sobek Augments and related death-detonation effects. Elemental Ammo can still increase damage and status effects, but it will no longer cause those death explosions to retrigger endlessly. Acid Shells also has a smaller explosion radius now, which may affect how far its damage reaches.
Riven users are directly affected by the disposition overhaul. Since the old weapon-by-weapon multipliers are gone, Riven behavior is now standardized around a 1.2-equivalent system, and trading Rivens is available again. Players with Riven Splicers installed before the hotfix were also granted a separate inbox reward.
