TL;DR
Warframe Hotfix 44.0.1 adds clarification for Archimedea Personal Modifier groups and Entropic Eximus behavior, refunds Necramech Slot purchases, and includes several gameplay fixes and balance adjustments. It also increases the weighting of Narin’s Blueprint in certain Zariman missions.
What Changed
- Archimedea Personal Modifiers for Temporal and Deep Archimedea are now separated into four groups, with one modifier from each group selected on weekly reset.
- The updated Archimedea modifier system is not live yet in this hotfix; it is set to apply after the weekly reset on September 28, 2026 at Midnight UTC.
- Entropic Eximus behavior is clarified:
- Non-melee damage is reduced by 90%.
- Operator damage is reduced by 75%.
- Companions do not target Entropic Eximus.
- Their bubbles block projectiles and prevent Warframe abilities from dealing damage to the Eximus.
- The bubble can be broken by melee damage with the Iceblade of Narin buff from Neote on Yuvan Peak, or by Tauron strikes.
- Necramech Slot purchases have been refunded, with Platinum returned via inbox message.
- Narin’s Blueprint weighting was doubled in Zariman Exterminate and Mobile Defense missions.
- Hydroid and Hydroid Prime stats were updated to properly swap Health and Shield values.
- Narin can now walk on water during Nurinarim.
- The hit SFX on Entropic Eximus shields was removed temporarily.
- Several fixes were applied, including:
- An elevator exploit that caused increasing Eximus spawn counts in Zariman Ten Zero missions.
- Corrupted Nullifier bubbles not being destroyable by shooting the bubble itself.
- The Mausolon, Morgha, and Cortege alt fires not charging.
- The Dorrclave unique trait not functioning properly.
- Riven trait roll issues involving incorrect positive and negative values.
- Narin being able to equip a Heavy Weapon while Nurinarim is active.
- Performance issues and crashes tied to Narin and other situations.
- Cosmetic, localization, UI, audio, and script errors across multiple items and missions.
Player Impact
Players running Temporal or Deep Archimedea should see less chance of extremely punishing modifier combinations once the updated system goes live after the weekly reset. For Entropic Eximus, the hotfix makes their defenses and intended counters much clearer, which matters for players hunting them or their Entropic Kuva.
The Narin Blueprint weighting change should make it more forgiving to obtain that blueprint in Zariman Exterminate and Mobile Defense missions. Hydroid and Hydroid Prime’s stat correction is also relevant for players using those frames, since the update explicitly ties the change to making better use of armor gained from Plunder.
The Necramech Slot refund means affected players should receive Platinum back through inbox messages. The exploit fix and related Entropic Kuva removal also affect players who benefited from the Zariman Ten Zero elevator exploit.
