Warframe: Iceblade of Narin: Hotfix 44.0.2

Warframe: Iceblade of Narin: Hotfix 44.0.2

TL;DR

Warframe Hotfix 44.0.2 adds a new Auxiliary Attachment option for Citrine Prime’s Adornments, expands Nightwave offerings with Day of the Dead cosmetics, and makes several gameplay, Rivens, and bug fixes. It also adjusts Shotgun Rivens to roll Zoom stats in preparation for the Riven Splicer system.

What Changed

  • Citrine Prime’s Adornments can now be unequipped as a new Auxiliary Attachment.
  • Day of the Dead cosmetics from Nightwave: Dreams of the Dead were added to Nightwave Offerings as permanent rotating items.
  • Shotgun Rivens can now roll Zoom stats in anticipation of the Riven Splicer system.
  • The Deimos Genetrix’s SFX were adjusted to be quieter and play at a shorter distance.
  • Multiple fixes were made, including:
  • Entropic Eximus damage reduction being applied twice.
  • Entropic Eximus spawning in The Descendia missions.
  • Allied barriers blocking line-of-sight checks for Narin’s Neote.
  • The Galvanized Scope description showing the wrong trigger text.
  • Riven Cycling issues that created duplicate traits or left conflicting positive and negative traits on the same stat.
  • Narin and Uriel passives granting permanent elemental buffs when applied without a weapon equipped.
  • Zymos, Dual Toxocyst Incarnon, Entropic Kuva and Riven Sliver drops, Archimedea’s Ability Strength bonus, several cosmetic offset issues, and multiple crash, performance, script error, and quest/map issues.

Player Impact

Players using Citrine Prime now have a permanent way to unequip Adornments through the new Auxiliary Attachment behavior. Nightwave players can see additional Day of the Dead cosmetics in the weekly rotation, with more planned for Daughter’s Naberus wares when that event launches in October.

For builds and Rivens, the Zoom stat change matters because Shotgun Rivens can now roll a stat needed for future Spliced Traits. Players who cycled Rivens during the affected bug should see their Kuva refunded if they were presented with a broken option.

Several fixes also remove incorrect or inconsistent behavior in combat and missions, including Entropic Eximus issues, Narin’s Neote line-of-sight problems, and the Dual Toxocyst Incarnon’s missing Toxin damage from its Neurotoxin evolution. The patch also addresses performance issues tied to specific abilities and projectiles, plus a number of crashes and script errors.
