TL;DR
Marvel Rivals’ August 13, 2026 patch adds new store content, summer-themed events, and several fixes. It also gives Lady Loki new default movement and combat animations, while Jeff the Land Shark now switches to a swimming animation in deep water on Hellfire Bay Beach.

- Rivals’ Summer Finale ’26 Krakoan Reels Vol. 2 runs from August 13, 2026 to September 24, 2026.
- Summer Snapshot runs from August 13, 2026 to September 24, 2026 and awards 100 Units for sharing a snapshot.
- Pop & Win spotlights Magik’s Soul Surfer and Scarlet Witch’s Seaside Sorceress from August 13, 2026 to September 24, 2026.
- Lady Loki now has exclusive movement and combat animations by default across all Lady Loki costumes, with a toggle back to classic animations available in the Costume interface.
- Jeff the Land Shark now automatically transitions into a swimming animation when entering deep water in Hellfire Bay Beach.
- Fixes were made for Iron Fist, Rogue, Accessibility settings, several emotes in non-combat areas, Iron Fist’s Furious Flow Ultimate Ability VFX, and Winter Soldier highlight subtitles.
Player Impact
The patch is mostly a content and polish update rather than a gameplay balance pass. Players can expect new cosmetics, limited-time events, and presentation changes for Lady Loki and Jeff the Land Shark.
For players using Iron Fist, Rogue, or the affected emotes, the listed fixes address issues with displacement, ability-description text, and emote usage while moving in non-combat areas. Accessibility settings should now save properly, and Winter Soldier highlight screenings now include English and Chinese subtitles.
