TL;DR
Marvel Rivals’ Version 20260417 balance post adds a new Chain-CC Protection system and adjusts a wide set of heroes, including Emma Frost, Deadpool, Peni Parker, Elsa Bloodstone, Human Torch, Winter Soldier, Adam Warlock, Cloak & Dagger, Jeff the Land Shark, Luna Snow, and Ultron. It also changes the Guardian of the Deep Team-Up and introduces the new Lucky Loan Team-Up.
What Changed
- New Chain-CC Protection system

- Clears active CC and grants 30% Tenacity for 3 seconds.
- Tenacity increases by 10% with each new CC effect and extends by 0.5 seconds.
- At 100% Tenacity, the Hero becomes CC immune until the buff expires.

Player Impact
The biggest gameplay change is the new Chain-CC Protection system, which is designed to stop long stun chains from locking Heroes down repeatedly. That should matter most in fights where CC is layered quickly, since the system can purge effects and build Tenacity toward full immunity.
Several heroes are being pushed toward different combat patterns:
– Deadpool, Elsa Bloodstone, and Winter Soldier lose some burst, control, or survivability-related pressure.
– Peni Parker, Human Torch, Adam Warlock, Luna Snow, and Ultron gain tools that improve positioning, mobility, healing, or area coverage.
– Jeff the Land Shark and Cloak & Dagger see reductions to some of their pressure or ultimate uptime.
The Team-Up changes also matter for coordinated play. Guardian of the Deep is less rewarding in terms of extra bulk, while Lucky Loan adds a new Team-Up package with new abilities for White Fox and Captain America.
